Farmingdale superstar runner Donna McMahon continued her winning ways in the MacArthur Airport 5 Mile Run on Nov. 13, scoring as the first woman overall in this latest race in the KeySpan Energy Grand Prix of Long Island road racing. Donna, who runs for the Greater Long Island Running Club's Fast Feet Women's Racing Team, crossed the finish line in 30 minutes, 17 seconds, a pace of 6:03 per mile that left her more than a minute ahead of her nearest competitor.
The MacArthur Airport 5 Mile Run is the 18th race in the 21 race KeySpan Grand Prix Series for 1999. The Grand Prix is administered by Long Island Track & Field.
