He was past Grand Knight, Our Lady of the Island Council Knights of Columbus #6911, Massapequa and past president of the Brave Hearts of St. Francis Hospital. Husband of Maria. Father of Gail, Scott, Judy, Wayne, Maria and Larry and their loved ones, Phil, Lisa, Laura, Jenny, Fred and Jen. Grandfather of many. Arrangements were made by the Massapequa Funeral Home. Piscina, 81, of Massapequa, died on Oct. 8, 1999. He was part owner and chef at Eblins Restaurant on Wall St. and was a member of the VFW and the Italian American War Veterans. Husband of Margaret. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Harry W. Plate, of Massapequa formerly of New Hyde Park, died on Oct. 8, 1999. Retired FDNY. Husband of the late Winifred. Father of Winifred Herman and Diane Zullin.
