Joseph A. Sollecito, 89, formerly of Massapequa Park, died recently. He was born in Brooklyn, the son on the late Pasquale and Josephine Sollecito. He was a retired vice president and treasurer of Weksler Instruments Inc. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annette. Husband of Rose. Father of Jo-Ann S. Beard and Elaine A. Conner. Brother of Lucy S. Capitti. Grandfather of Christopher Beard, Stacey Beard and Andrew Connor. Liturgy Mass at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Father of Lorraine Mathus, Alice Theresa Brungo, Kathryn Smeds, Philip, the late Donald Jr., Michael Gilroy and Kevin Gilroy. Grandfather of 22. Great-grandfather of one.
