On Aug. 27 through Aug. 29, Avon in partnership with the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations (NABCO), is sponsoring a three-day Breast Cancer Walkathon from West Point to Manhattan. The proceeds from this walk will be used for breast cancer research. As only 2000 participants will make this walk, each participant must pledge to donate a minimum of $1800.

We would like to demonstrate to all of the New York Massapequa's compassion and commitment to helping others. As long-time community members, we would like to represent you in this walk. In order to meet our pledge of $3600, we need your support.

Breast cancer has touched the lives of many Massapequans. It is time to become part of the solution. We must not be insignificant. We must not take life for granted. We must do something bold. Inspiring. Challenging . We must do it now. We are appealing to all Massapequa business people to be a part of this meaningful demonstration.

You can help. Please make your checks payable to AVON's Breast Cancer 3-Day and send by July 1, to:
