Philip G. Kindel, of Massapequa, died recently. He was born Nov. 25, 1923 in Brooklyn, the son of Joseph and Ida Kindel. He was a decorated WWII Army combat veteran, a member of the Scottish Rite, Amityville Lodge #977 and the Knights of Pythias, Challenger Lodge #652. Husband of the late Helen (Kreidman). Father of Michael, Stephen and George. Brother of Shirley. Grandfather of eight. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the I.J. Morris Funeral Home, Hempstead.
