The Annual Massapequa Mustang Awards Dinner was held recently, and Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt was on hand to present the award that bears his name, which is given each year to an athlete who demonstrates good sportsmanship. This year, there was a tie for the prestigious honor, so the Massapequa Mustangs presented two Peter Schmitt Awards.
