All runners, walkers, ghosts, ghoulies, goblins, and especially "things that go bump in the night" are invited to join with the Plainview--Old Bethpage Road Runners Club for the annual POBRRC Halloween Fun Run on Friday, Oct. 30, with the start and finish at The Runners Edge, on Main Street in Farmingdale.

The Run (distance an easy 5 Kilometers) will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by seasonal refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to the witch and warlock who show up in the best costumes. Runners Edge proprietor Bob Cook has promised to have plenty of "specials" available, and there will be special drawing giveaways.

There is neither an entry fee nor entry form. Just show up at the Runners Edge ready to run (preferably in costume!), organizers advised.

Post run dinner is optional at either "Annabella's" or "Johnnie's Buffet" in Farmingdale.
