A host of local elected officials were on hand for the unveiling of Marascia Field, a new home field for Plainedge Soccer. The field is named in honor of longtime Plainedge Soccer League Administrator Frank Marascia (fourth from right) who was instrumental in getting the ball rolling on the project. After the need for the field was expressed, Supervisor Venditto and personnel from the Town of Oyster Bay found a suitable location and had the field built. Gulotta; Councilman Joseph D. Muscarella and New York State Assemblyman Steve Labriola.
