This year the Chamber of Commerce of the Massapequas is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Throughout these years the chamber has been involved in local projects and activities. Residents expect our members to be reliable and responsible. The Indian Chief emblem displayed on businesses and professional offices is a sign of assurance.
The chamber donates a large portion of the monies received from membership dues to the religious, educational, charitable, not-for-profit organizations as well as business organizations of the community.
In order to continue contributing, a viable membership base is essential.
Unfortunately, in recent years, many businesses are failing to renew their membership. However, the chamber trademark remains on the door or store window wrongfully indicating current chamber involvement.
Imagine if no one rejoined the chamber. There is no value in displaying a chamber logo if there is no chamber organization. Don't let this happen. I am requesting all former members to rejoin our organization this coming year. We need you. The community needs us. Display the chamber emblem proudly!
