The Bar Harbour building, of the Massapequa Public Library, will be closed on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26. Bill Serynek, library director, reports the two day closing is necessary to replace transformers and upgrade electrical service for the building expansion project currently underway at Bar Harbour (BH).

Mr. Serynek said, "Full library service will be available at the Central Avenue building or on the library trailer, which will maintain its regular schedule." For patron convenience the book drop at BH will remain open for the 48 hours that the building is closed. In addition, no fines will be charged for the two days BH is closed.

The trailer schedule for Thursday and Friday is as follows:

Thursday, June 25 East Lake School

Friday, June 26 Cypress Street between Charles and Pacific

Hours: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
