Massapequa Chiefs Lacrosse Booster Club will be sponsoring a lacrosse clinic for boys and girls grades 2-6 on Saturday, May 2 from noon - 3 p.m. at the Massapequa High School Lacrosse Field.

"The clinic has been a very successful event over the years and we expect a large turnout," stated Terry Campbell, Booster Club co-president. "We urge youngsters to register early, since there are a limited number of spots available."

This is an excellent opportunity for younger players to be trained and coached by the Massapequa High School varsity and junior varsity coaches as well as members of the varsity lacrosse teams. The clinic will focus on the basic skills of passing, catching, shooting and team play. The clinic will include raffles, prizes and the STX Fastest Shot Competition. Refreshments and lacrosse clothing will be on sale.

Registration prior to the clinic is $15 with registration forms being distributed through the Massapequa Schools. Day of the clinic registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will be $18. Full equipment is required as well as permission from a parent or guardian. Any questions call 799-0556.
