"If miniature golf is your favorite summer activity, be sure to circle Saturday, June 20 on your Town calendar," said Councilman Thomas L. Clark.
At noon sharp, Bethpage, Majorie R. Post Community Parks will open for the mini-golf season.
It's a terrific activity that residents of just about any age can enjoy. With three mini-golf courses open from noon to 10 p.m., seven days a week, through Sept. 6, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 7, mini-golf devotees have a chance to become pretty proficient.
Since fees are still set at the 1996 rate of $2 per 18-hole round, mini-golf is an affordable activity the whole family can enjoy together.
In addition, an entire mini-golf course can be rented for a group rate of $50 an hour, which also reflects no increase since 1996.
"The mini-golf courses are a great example of getting the most out of what we have," Clark commented.
