Stan Organ, 73, of Massapequa Park, died on Jan. 22, 1998. Born in Inwood, he worked with Press Wireless, a news service, as teletype operator. He served in England in the Army during WWII as a telegraph and teletype operator and later worked at the New York Daily News in the wire room. He also worked for the Herald-Tribune, New Ltd. (an Australian wire service), Newsday (as a transcriber) and Roosevelt Raceway. Husband of the late Muriel (nee Watts). Father of Paul J., Diane L. Grover and Deborah A. Organ.
