Stan Organ, 73, of Massapequa Park, died on Jan. 22, 1998. Born in Inwood, he worked with Press Wireless, a news service, as teletype operator. He served in England in the Army during WWII as a telegraph and teletype operator and later worked at the New York Daily News in the wire room. He also worked for the Herald-Tribune, New Ltd. (an Australian wire service), Newsday (as a transcriber) and Roosevelt Raceway. Husband of the late Muriel (nee Watts). Father of Paul J., Diane L. Grover and Deborah A. Organ. Grandfather of Jacob, Jeremy and Danessa. Brother of Donald. Friend of Donald Jr. Arrangements were made by the Massapequa Funeral Home. Funeral service. Interment Greenfield Cemetery. Joseph C. McKeon, formerly of Massapequa Park, died on Jan. 23, 1998. Husband of Margaret. Father of Margaret Schumann, Michael, George and William Bischoff. Grandfather of eight. Arrangements were made by the Massapequa Funeral Home. Mass at St. Rose of Lima RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. James A. Nolan, formerly of Massapequa, died on Jan. 26, 1998. Father of James III, Mary Quinn, Deborah, Jonathan, Patricia Peterson, Colleen Politoski and the late Christopher. Grandfather of eight. Brother of Marion Caston.
