When the New York Saints take on the Baltimore thunder at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum Saturday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m., a portion of the proceeds for the third consecutive year will benefit the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center, North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset.
Saints fans who choose to attend the lacrosse match must purchase their tickets from a Kiwanian for the center to benefit. All fans who purchased their tickets from a Kiwanian will be able to get autographs or have their picture taken with the Saints' players after the game. Pop singer Valeria will sing the National Anthem to set the stage for this important Kiwanis fund raiser.
New York District Kiwanis Governor Susan C. Ganey from Hamburg, New York David Rothman, lieutenant governor of the Long Island South Central Division of Kiwanis International, and members from several Nassau County community Kiwanis clubs will present a mock check to representatives from the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center on the floor of the Coliseum before the game.
Tickets cost $15 each and may be ordered by calling Alan Hodish, the Kiwanis Family Night coordinator at 2222-1640 or from a member of your community's Kiwanis club.
