Manhasset Special Education PTA (SEPTA) is proud to announce a free homework support program offered in all three Manhasset Public Schools this spring. The Adaptive Homework Club is designed for special education and regular education students that struggle to complete homework independently.
The program begins in April and runs until the first week of June. Each session is 90 minutes long and is being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the elementary schools and secondary school. Group size is limited to keep a high teacher to student ratio. Manhasset private tutoring firm Tutor Doctor is partnering with Manhasset SEPTA to provide all the staff and oversee the program.
“As a long-time Manhasset resident with children in our public schools, I am delighted to work with SEPTA to offer a special support homework program to our districts’ students,” Tutor Doctor President Michael Warshawsky states. “Tutor Doctor offers private and group tutoring for all student levels, so this is a great fit that will benefit so many students in our schools.”
