Schools from all over Nassau County participate in the year-round Trivia Challenge event and raise significant funds for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (UCPN). Now in its 28th year, the Trivia Challenge event brings students with great minds and good hearts together to help raise funds to benefit the programs and services UCPN provides for over 1,800 children and adults challenged by disabilities.
The 2013 Trivia Challenge finals were held during the week of Feb. 25 at UCPN in Roosevelt. Munsey Park School students participating in the 3rd/4th grade category were Marco Motroni, John Donahue, Will Beresheim and Max Schwenk. The students representing Munsey Park School in the 5th/6th grade category were Ben Hyland, Oliver Reinhardt, Quinn Reinhardt and Michael Bachmann.
Michelle Gevirtz, development associate at USPN, thanked all the students, teachers and family members for their generosity and support. The ucpn has been assisting individuals with disabilities since 1948 and today over 1,800 children and adults benefit form the quality programs and services offered by this not-for-profit agency.
