Elections in most Manhasset villages will take place on Tuesday, March 16 from noon to 9 p.m. All elections are uncontested. Elections will be held in June in the Village of North Hills.
In Flower Hill incumbent Mayor Charles W. Weiss is running uncontested for a two-year term and three incumbent trustees are running for three open two-year terms. Those running are William M. Clemency, Norman A. Glavas, and Anthony J. DiSanto. All are members of the Flower Hill Party. The election will take place at the Flower Hill Village Hall, 1 Bonnie Heights Road.
In Munsey Park Village Justice John B. Turano is running for re-election for a four-year term. Incumbent Trustee Peter Puttre and Jacqueline Pierangelo are running for two–year terms. All elections are unopposed. The election will take place at the Munsey Park Village Hall, 1777 Northern Boulevard.
In Plandome incumbent trustees Ray Herbert and Ed Henderson are running for two-year terms. Both elections are uncontested. The election will take place at the Plandome Village Hall, 65 South Drive.
In Plandome Heights incumbent Mayor Diana Merenda is running for a two-year term. Incumbent trustees Alvin Solomon, Silva Ferman, and Kenneth Riscica are running for two-year terms. All elections are unopposed, and all contestants are running under the Alliance Party. The election will take place at the Plandome Village Hall, 65 South Drive, Plandome.
In Plandome Manor there are two open two-year trustee positions being sought by two incumbents, Tony DeSousa and Vahan Tanal. Both are members of the People’s Party. The election will take place at the Village Hall, located in the Science Museum of Long Island, 1526 N. Plandome Road, Plandome Manor.
