Secondary School Flagpole Courtyard Dedication

Join the SCA for the dedication of the new Flagpole Courtyard at the Secondary School at 9 a.m. The flagpole and surrounding landscape was a gift from the SCA to the Secondary School through the generous contributions of the school community. Active Seniors

Active Seniors of Manhasset meets every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in rented quarters at the Unitarian Church on Shelter Rock Rd. Phyllis Becker is its director and leads the group in its activities including luncheons at local restaurants. Because many of the group no longer drive, bus transportation is available. Bus pickup is at one’s house. Call Mrs. Becker at 365-8493 to be included. Meetings are in a bright cheery room and desserts and beverage are offered. Bring your own sandwiches. Get up card groups for bridge and other games, bingo and board games. This is a chance to get out and make new friends and keep up with the old ones.
