Our Lady of Grace Montessori School and Center will host it’s 15th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic at Plandome Country Club. Tennis is slated for a 9:30 a.m. start and a Golf Shotgun Start will be 1 p.m. Cocktail Party begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner to follow. Got A Question About Brooklyn History?

Temple Judea of Manhasset welcomes Ron Schweiger, authority on the lore of New York City and the borough of Brooklyn, from 2-4 p.m. He will take all on a nostalgic journey to the early days of Coney Island, Brighten Beach, Sheepshead Bay, and Ebbets Field. The program, sponsored by the Greatest Generation of Temple Judea of Manhasset, 333 Searingtown Road, Manhasset, NY 11030 is $10 per person and “more than a nosh” will be served. Don Scott Memorial 5K Run

The Don Scott Foundation’s 5K Run will begin at Mary Jane Davies Gazebo on Plandome Road in Manhasset and finish on Nassau Avenue, short of Park Avenue. Tom Humbert, baritone and songwriter. will return to our stage. Tom, an accomplished musician and songwriter, has performed with the Rainbow Room Jazz group locally and in the Hamptons. Weekly Events

•Stroke Support Group. North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset offers a free weekly support group for stroke survivors and caregivers every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 300 Community Dr., Entrance 3, and Apt. Bldg. #304. Each meeting begins with a general social period from 10 to 11 a.m. From 11 a.m. to noon guest speakers give presentations on a wide variety of topics. Lunch is from noon to 12:45 p.m. (bring your own lunch, beverages provided). From 12:50 pm to 1:30 pm, physical therapy is provided for stroke survivors, and concurrently a separate caregiver’s support group meeting is held. Monthly Events

•Brain Tumor Support Group. This is an educational support group designed to help adults with brain tumors improve their quality of life and share their experiences. Learn about testing and treatment options, available resources, share information and socialize. Light refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public. Held on the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Brain Tumor Center, North Shore University Hospital, 300 Community Dr., 9 Tower, Large Conference Room, Manhasset. •Brain Aneurysm Support Group held by the Brain Aneurysm Center at North Shore University Hospital, part of the Harvey Cushing Institutes of Neuroscience, on the second Tuesday of every month at NSUH’s 9th floor Tower conference room, 300 Community Dr., Entrance 3. Known as the “Circle of Friends,” the support group is open to all brain aneurysm patients, family members and friends. The schedule for the meeting is 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., a light dinner is served;
