I am writing concerning an on-going problem that we are experiencing at the Manhasset Train Station. I have had three occasions where mirrors and emblems have been stolen from my car, which is parked in the back lot - right next to the MPD House during the daytime. It has cost over $1,500 to replace these items. Added to a cost of $750 annually to park there, seems crazy to me. I would like to ask other residents who have experienced theft to their automobiles, or who park their cars in the lot, to commission the MPD to install security cameras to prevent this from continuing.
