Mary Lee Adams was born on April 10, 1936 and died on Jan. 23, 2009.

She was the daughter of Lioba and Frank McKenna of Manhasset.

Mary Lee lived in Jupiter, FL for the past 12 years, but raised her family in Manhasset, where she was involved in numerous civic organizations including president of SCA, St. Mary's CCD, president of Visiting Nurse, co-founder of the Annual Manhasset Flu Shot program and had the distinctive title of "Commodorable" while her husband was Commodore of Port Washington Yacht Club where they have been longtime members.

She is survived by her husband Michael C. Adams and their children Michelle (Stephen) McGann of Manhasset, Christopher C. Adams (Marian) of Garden City and Gregory K. Adams (Julie) of Summit, NJ, eight grandchildren, sister Eileen Milton of Naples, FL, and brother Thomas McKenna of Boca Raton, FL.
