In the next days, those of you who have not given this year to the Manhasset Community Fund will be receiving an unprecedented "Urgent Appeal" envelope in the mail. The current economic downturn has impacted the MCF fundraising to a concerning level.

The wonderful spirit behind MCF is that, as a community, we pool our resources together to create a sum greater than the parts, which is a metaphor for how we can connect together with family, friends and neighbors to count our blessings in this difficult and stressful year.

The MCF Fund has deep roots, since 1946 is 100 percent local and is run by people you know who are community leaders in this good cause that make a difference!
