The 2008 Manhasset Boys' Cross-Country team, led by senior Captain David Knowles and junior Co-Captain Joe Nassirian, have competed in six meets with an overall league record of 8 wins - 0 losses. The team has defeated North Shore, Friends Academy, Carle Place, Valley Stream North, Cold Spring Harbor, Locust Valley, Oyster Bay and Malverne. In invitational Saturday meets the team has a second place, fourth place and fifth place in fields with 30 other teams (Sunken Meadow Park).

Joe Nassirian (11) has run the (5K) courses in (17.27) with David Knowles (12) 17:32); John Thomas (10) (17:58); Andrew Choi (11) (18:01); Pat Love (11) (18:02); Tom Welsh (12) (18:08); Charlie Morris (9) (18:43) and Joe Zahn (11) (18:47). The key to the team is its strong depth with less than a minute between the meet scoring group. The team has come together and should be strong in their conference and county championship races.
