Without a home pool, the Manhasset girls swim team has learned to compete after long bus rides, short warm-ups, and different pool designs and conditions. In the past six years, the Manhasset Swim Team and a few other high school teams have adopted the USMMA as a home competition pool and the results certainly show when swimming at home. There have been many memorable meets held at this pool. The lists of rivals that have made the trip to the North Shore include Garden City, Long Beach, Sewanhaka and Bellmore Merrick (Nassau County's top ranked public school teams).
