Opinion

It has happened to me again. I was at a red light waiting to make a right on Plandome Road at 7:50 in the morning in Manhasset. I did not want to make the right on red. The car behind me blasted his horn, moved next to my car by going into the other side of oncoming traffic. He yelled something at me, and proceeded to make the right on red. Drivers should know that making a right on red is not mandatory. I think next time I will turn on my right blinker at the last possible moment, after the light has turned green.
