On Tuesday night March 11 the 25th annual Nassau County Indoor Track Awards dinner was held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Syosset. Manhasset athletes honored were: Joe Nassirian, David Knowles, John Nestor, Chris Jordonne, Kadeem Howell, Chase Cotter, Jasmine Blocker, Olivia Amato, Devon Lawrence, Patricia McNish and Nina Kucharczyk. All athletes were honored for their All-Conference, All-County, All-State and All-American honors.

Kadeem Howell was honored as the 2008 Indoor Track MVP Athlete of the Year after his County championship, All-New York State and All-American honors in the triple jump 46 ft. 4 inches. Kadeem achieved All-American honors by finishing sixth in the national championships on March 15.
