Mary Louise Mastrianni, died on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at home after a long illness. She was born on December 26 in Manhattan, thereafter resided in Astoria, NY until moving to Dania, FL in June 1975 with her husband Joseph. She married on Oct. 15, 1939 and enjoyed 42 wonderful years of marriage until his death on August 16, 1981.
Mary was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph and sisters Sophie and Josephine. She leaves behind two daughters, Cecilia Ioannou (husband, Constantine) and Louise Darconte (husband, Eugene), as well as her brother John Luttieri of Wyandanch.
She treasured her four grandchildren: Michele Rusin (husband, Sam), Joseph Darconte (wife, Denise), Athas and Angelika and adored her four great-grandchildren Michael, John, Jessica and Samantha.
Mary dedicated her life to the care of her husband and family and since 1983 enjoyed traveling around the world to Japan, China, Australia, Tahiti, Hong Kong, Hawaii and the UK with her children and grandchildren.
She will be terribly missed by all her family and friends.
Services were held at Harden Funeral Home located at 208-17 Northern Blvd. in Bayside on March 18. The funeral Mass was held March 19 at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Northern Blvd. in Manhasset. She was laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Long Island City.

Gladys Mulderrig loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Feb. 28, 2008 at the age of 75. Gladys was a long-time resident of Manhasset moving there in 1966. During those years, she was an active member of the Munsey Park and Flower Hill Women's clubs. She was a member of North Hempstead CC where she was an avid golfer enjoying the friendly competition in the women's 18 holers, and playing bridge and Maj Jong there with her friends.
Gladys Mulderrig leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Gerard, and her children and grandchildren: son Gerry, daughter in-law Marian and their children Christine, Erin and Jimmy; son Stephen, daughter in-law Susan and their children Britta, Casey and Molly; and her daughter Patrice Quirin, son in-law Chris and their children Meaghan and Ryan.
Friends and family paid their respects at Dalton Funeral Home in Williston Park on Sunday March 2. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mary's Church in Manhasset on Monday March 3, followed by interment at Nassau Knolls Cemetery in Port Washington.
