On Sunday, March 9, the PAL swim team competed in the Nassau Winter Swim Conference Division 2 Championships.

The PAL swim team, which concluded its 15th season, is composed of local swimmers from the Manhasset and Port Washington area. The team has been instrumental in building a strong technical foundation for many of the area's high school and college swimmers.

During the dual meet season, The PAL team finished in a second place tie with Bethpage, compiling a 4-2 win-loss record.

At Sunday's meet, many PAL swimmers posted personal best times to lead the team to a second place finish, surpassing North Hempstead, Great Neck, Bethpage and Syosset. This was the best championship meet finish in the program's history!

Second place finishers include: Annabelle Corcoran (Free), Melissa Brown (Free), Kelsey Brown (Backstroke), Grace Kenlon (Breaststroke), Matt Holweger (Breaststroke), Christina Johnson (Breaststroke), Olivia Garvey (Butterfly), Nick O'Krepkie (Butterfly), Jeanne Berberich (Medley Relay), Margaret Pegno (Medley Relay), Meredith Johnson (Medley Relay), Nora McGee (Medley Relay), Dylan Carrol (Medley Relay), Stephen Tranchina (Medley Relay), David Scaramucci (Medley Relay), Keller Jacobs (Medley Relay), Liam Mansfield (Free Relay), Howie Curd (Free Relay), Tommy Kuehn (Free Relay) and Kevin Flynn (Free Relay).
