It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Averso CMC, RMC, the Village Clerk of Munsey Park. Helen passed away on Friday, Nov. 2 during a brief hospital stay for surgery. She had worked for the Village of Westbury for 26 years as the deputy clerk and clerk to the justice. She has been the village clerk/treasurer for the Village of Munsey Park for four years. Helen was always ready with the facts and information needed. She is survived by her husband Joseph, son Joseph and daughter Deborah and son in law, Jason and two grandsons, Brendon and Hunter. She will be sorely missed.
