Manhasset High School Waves Good-Bye to the Class of 2007
In its 87th graduation ceremony, Manhasset High School said good-bye to its class of 2007. Enjoying the beautiful weather, family, faculty, and friends gathered to say farewell to the graduating class of 2007. Practically all of the seats were filled up well before the 6 p.m. start of the ceremony.

Keep Manhasset Beautiful Holds First Meeting
Keep Manhasset Beautiful ("KMB") held its first official meeting on Saturday, June 23, at the Manhasset Public Library. Among those in attendance to show their support were Town of North Hempstead Councilwoman Maria "Kitty" Poons and Katie Miller of Coalition for a Safer Manhasset.

All across the country it was estimated that over 200,000 women and men in 2006 would be diagnosed with breast cancer. The Long Island 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk recognizes the importance of raising awareness as a key component to early detection. Numerous studies have shown that early detection saves lives and increases treatment options.
