We would like to take this public moment to thank our dear principal Richard A. McMahon for his tireless efforts in serving the students, parents and teachers of Manhasset. Rick, you are a man of exceptional character and possess a heart of gold. You have been a great leader and mentor to many and you never seemed to rest - whether greeting students at the door in the morning, chatting with them about academics, sports or personal interests, spending countless evenings at school functions or attending parent council meetings - and you always brought a personal touch to your job. You displayed a unique spirit and passion for education and children. We feel honored to have worked with you and our children will remember your kindness throughout their lives. We wish you and your family much happiness and success in this next chapter of your life.
