Michael Mazzei Honored by Nassau County Museum of Art
This year's Nassau County Museum of Art Annual Ball, on June 9, will honor Michael Mazzei, owner of nuBest, the Manhasset hair salon and spa. The museum ball is a lavish event, each year attracting a top-drawer crowd from Long Island's social and business communities. Mazzei commented he is "proud to be associated with such an important institution right here in our backyard."

O'Connell: Get Your Passports Now!
"With spring upon us, summer vacation is not very far ahead," Nassau County Clerk Maureen O'Connell said. "But this year, plans for travel outside the United States must be made immediately. The wait for passports can be 10 weeks." O'Connell announced that she has been notified by the United States Passport Office of extraordinary delays in processing United States passport applications. "These delays," stated O'Connell, "are attributed to the new requirements established by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which requires anyone traveling to or from Canada, Bermuda, Mexico, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean to possess a passport.

Manhasset Lacrosse Hall of Fame to Honor Harry Baugher and Jimmy Regan
This year's Hall of Fame golf outing and dinner will be held on Thursday, May 3 and will honor two special people: Harry Baugher, who passed away on January 18, 2007 after a two year fight with cancer, and Jimmy Regan, who was killed in combat in Iraq on February 8, 2007.

Molinari Family Has Talent to Spare
On March 24 the Molinari brothers faced off against each other representing their respective college teams. Terrence Molinari attends Duke University where he is a freshman and his brother, Cullen, is a sophomore at Georgetown University. Both boys wear jersey #30.
