This is to advise the Nassau County Board of Elections that the League of Women Voters of Port Washington/Manhasset received numerous complaints regarding the 7th NYS Senatorial District Special Election held Feb. 6. Voters were uncertain as to where to cast their vote due to lack of notification by the board of elections. The notification procedure for voters in the event of a Special Election should be the same as that in general or primary elections.

We bring this matter to your attention and anticipate prompt action to correct the situation and thus ensure the rights of the voters.
