Tuesday's Children Founder Fired
Chris Burke, founder of Tuesday's Children, with offices on Plandome Road, was fired by the board of directors in January after it was discovered he had misused the organization's funds, diverting approximately $311,000, some of it for his personal use, according to the organization's chairman of the board, Jonathan Barnet, and as reported in The New York Times.

The library budget hearing was held Tuesday, April 11 at 8 p.m., with library director Marian Robertson, president Senetta Koch, vice president Carol Ascrizzi, financial secretary Frank Hone and trustees Seval LaRocca and James Pelzer in attendance. Breast Cancer Survivors Invited to 'Swing Fore The Health of It'
The American Cancer Society invites women looking to get into the swing of golf or refresh their golf skills after dealing with breast cancer to participate in a free program. Last year the American Cancer Society created a five-week program "Swing Fore the Health of It" to provide women with the opportunity to become physically active through the game of golf.
