Traffic Safety Commission Meets With Village Officials and Local Police
The Town of North Hempstead Traffic Safety Commission hosted the first of several meetings with local officials and police to discuss ways to improve the safety of our roadways. Mayors and trustees of villages within the town were invited to attend, along with representatives from Nassau County Police and several village police departments and other individuals involved with traffic safety in the area.

Two patrols from Boy Scout Troop 97 of Manhasset competed in the 20th annual Klondike Derby at Muttontown Preserve.

CASA Games Basketball Teams Taking Shape
Board of education members, principals and teachers from Manhasset and St. Mary's will vie with students for the sixth CASA Games title in what promises to be spirited competition on Friday, April 7 in the Manhasset High School gym. School board member, Larry Belinsky will brave the faculty team for the first time, while his colleagues on the board will pitch in by volunteering. Superintendent Charlie Cardillo will also play in his premiere CASA Games Faculty/Student game.
