We would like to thank the MLFD and the officers from the 6th Precinct for securing the area surrounding the front of our house on Saturday morning when our large pine tree cracked and fell onto the wires and into the street.

We also wish to extend our appreciation to our next door neighbors, Walter France and Don Higgins for keeping us updated on the situation throughout the day.

Unfortunately, the entire neighborhood was without electricity and phone service for much of the day, and we apologize for that, but we are very grateful that no one was injured and that no one's house or property suffered any damage.

Thank you all!

Ed and Linda Winrow
