Eleanor R. Schwab, 81, of Manchester, NJ, died on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. She was an administrative secretary, central supply, at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Garden City, Plandome Manor, Sarasota, FL and East Marion, NY before moving to Manchester four years ago.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Schwab; two sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Cheryl of Manhasset and Richard and Sharon of East Setauket; and two grandchildren, Madeleine and Taylor.

Eleanor attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts. She was a very active member of the NY chapter of AAUW. Also, she served as president of Club Life, which was published in Manhasset.

Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Wheaton College in Massachusetts.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. DeGraff Cremation Services, Lakehurst, NJ is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth McComb, of Hicksville died on Jan. 13, 2006 at age 80. Loving mother of Bruce, Leslie Georgeson (Anthony) and Karen Kennedy (John) of Manhasset. Cherished grandmother of Bobby and Bruce McComb, J.J. Kennedy, Brian Georgeson, Amy Kennedy and the late Tommy McComb. Arrangements made by the funeral home of Dodge-Thomas. Services and interment were private.
