Gene Mallory of Flower Hill, Manhasset, passed away on Dec. 1, 2005 after a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer. Her last five weeks were spent at home under Hospice care and her devoted family's care.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 48 years, Dick, and her loving children, David and Susan Thompson, grandchildren Sarah, J.B. and Cameron, son-in law Jack Thompson, sisters Francis Scoralick, Wilma Dybus, Gigi Moisa, brothers Alec Noga and Adam Noga and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Fairchild and Sons. Her Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Dec. 5 with interment at Nassau Knowles Cemetary.

Priscilla K. Schappell passed away quietly on Dec. 2, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital. A longtime resident of Musney Park, followed by Houston, TX, Priscilla was an avid sailor and sportswoman as well as a long-time member of Port Washington Yacht Club and more recently Manhasset Bay Yacht Club. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arthur; and her daughters, Priscilla and Nan, both of whom live in Manhasset. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Georgia and Kelly, as well as her grandsons, Fred and Kevin. A memorial service was held at Fairchild Sons in Manhasset on Dec. 6 followed by a graveside service at Nassau Knolls.
