The Nassau County Board of Elections must make a decision in the near future about replacing the current "lever" voting machines with electronic voting machines. The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Port Washington-Manhasset recently hosted an informative discussion on the topic. There was a sizable turnout for the event, which was held at the Port Washington Public Library. The meeting was chaired by Sue Fitzgerald and Edna Vincenti, co-presidents of the LWV. FULL STORY
