The beautiful Ford Woody that you featured on the front page last week belonged to our family for 20 years! It is being used in the movie The Good Shepherd being filmed in Manhasset.

My father, Joe White, was dining with my mom, Dottie, and saw it across the street. He excused himself and 15 minutes later he'd made arrangements for delivery.

Originally used as a milk truck they gained popularity in the 1950s beach surfing movies. Dad always kept a surfboard sticking out the back.

We had a wall full of trophies. My sister and I both used her for our weddings-all decorated with flowers and bows.

The last movie Robert DeNiro directed was A Bronx Tale where my parents grew up and my dad's 1968 Buick was prominently featured in that movie.

It's so good to see she's still around.
