Tim Goettelmann, Blake Miller, and John Gagliardi played in Major Lacrosse All-Star Game

Former Manhasset lacrosse players and Long Island Lizards players, Blake Miller, John Gagliardi, Tim Goettelmann and Blake Miller, were selected to play in the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game on July 2 at Invesco Field, which is also home to the Denver Broncos. Over 12,000 spectators witnessed an exciting overtime game that aired on ESPN2 on Saturday, July 16, at 6 pm.
All three athletes played exceptionally well during the game; Blake Miller finished the night with a total of three goals and two assists, while Tim Geottelmann finished with three goals and three assists. And from close defense John Gagliardi put up two goals and had the game tying assist and played outstanding defense all game.
Thirty-six players were selected to play in the All-Star game, each team consisting of 18 players. All three of these athletes have played in every single All-Star game since the league inaugural in 2001!
