The Manhasset girls' varsity track team competed at the Division Championships at North Shore High School and placed fifth overall.

The 4x800 meter relay were division champs with a time of 10:34.8 with an average 2:38+ per leg. The team consisted of Hilary Gallo (10th grade), Kaitlin Powers (11th), Natalie Bindert (10th) and Lisa Mascali (11th).

Also earning division champion honors was Lindsey Ready winning the 100 meter and the 400 meter hurdle races. Lindsey has been winning these events at most of the league meets and has placed at many of the invitational meets. Lindsey was also all division in the 200 meters with a third place finish. Natalie Bindert placed second in the 1500 meters and Hilary Gallo third in the 800 meters.

The following girls scored points for the team by placing in the top six in their events. Lisa Mascali was fourth in the 1500 meters, Carolyn Kim fifth in the 3000 meters, Elizabeth Whipple sixth in the discus, Dorothea Ehrhardt fifth in the high jump, and the 4x 400 meter relay fourth with Christine Nash, Brittany Kang, Carmen Lam, and Ashley Cramer.

Next was the County Championships on May 17-18 at Mitchel Park and the state qualifying meet May 24-25.
