Continuing the long tradition of winning, the Gaels of St. Mary's battled back from a 2-0 deficit to win their seventh straight New York State High School Championship at their home rink, Iceworks. St. Mary's hockey team has won the New York State Amateur Hockey Association title each year from 1995-1997 and 1999 through 2005. This is an outstanding achievement for the Gaels hockey team.

The Gaels want to thank all their fans and alumni who came down to support the team. The entire team returns next season with all but three players. This year team's MVP was Louie L'Heureux who provided the solid goaltending the Gaels needed all season. The team worked extremely well this year by earning 39 wins and 1 loss and scoring over 200 goals.
