Charles R. Randel, of Cape Coral, Florida, formally of Port Washington, died on Dec. 18, 2004. He was past president of the Manhasset Kiwanis Club and a real estate broker and appraiser for 40 years with Douglas Van Riper Realty. Mr. Randel was the beloved husband of Patricia and loving father of Ruth Giordano, Pat Davis, Ray Randel, Joan Muller, Ann Green, Mary Blacharski and Robert Randel. He was also the grandfather of 12 grandchildren. Services were held at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel in Manhasset with interment at the Nassau Knolls Cemetary.

Edward La Claire Dominge Jr. of Manhasset and Fort Pierce, FL passed away at the age of 97 years on Dec. 21, 2004. The beloved husband of Gretchen Travers Dominge; devoted father of Marlyn Dominge Johnson of San Sebastian, FL; brother of Raymond Dominge of Port Jefferson, NY and Virginia De Chester of Pinellas Park, FL; loving step-father of Barbara Travers Wellbeloved of Mill Valley, CA and Richard Myers Travers of Palos Verdes, CA; and grandfather to five grandsons and great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dominge, a respected businessman of Manhasset for over 50 years, was a builder, an insurance agent and real estate broker. He opened Edward L. Dominge Jr. Real Estate in 1947 and built thousands of houses in Garden City and Northport areas, as well as many houses in Connecticut and New Jersey and hundreds of lovely homes in the villages of Plandome and Flower Hill.
