Concetta Maura, 84, of Manhasset, died on Nov. 5, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Marianne Buzzitta and Antoinette Hasson of Manhasset and her sons, Michael of Manhasset and Mario of S. Woodstock, VT. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Michelle Grullon, Deborah Shertzer and Nicholas Maura; two great-grandsons, Gabriel Grullon and Eric Shertzer; and two sisters, Madeline Colantuono and Marie Tranfaglia. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Concetta came to Manhasset from New York City in 1925 with her parents Pietro and Mary LaPlaca. She graduated from St. Mary's Elementary School in 1934 and from Manhasset High School and Grace Institute in 1938. On Feb. 2, 1941 she was married to Mario Maura, who predeceased her in September 1997. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's Church on Nov. 8. Joseph Clayton Zoller

Joseph Clayton Zoller died on Nov. 5, 2004 at the age of 39. He grew up in Port Washington and was a recent resident of Manhasset.
Joe was a graduate of Friends Academy and Fordham University. His funeral Mass was held on Nov. 10 at the Church of St. Mary's, Manhasset, followed by interment at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington.
Joe will be remembered as a loving and compassionate human being who always had a big smile and huge hug for everyone. He will be greatly missed.
Joe was a devoted husband to Amy Dawson Zoller, a loving son to Richard and Judy Zoller, a dear brother and brother-in-law to Richard Jr. and Ellen Zoller and an adoring uncle to Richard III and Clayton Zoller. He was the fond son-in-law of Robert and Sally Dawson of Richmond, VA.
