The Daughters of the American Revolution, North Riding Chapter, celebrated by holding a philanthropic luncheon at the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point. The chapter honored Betty DeVries. Betty is the reporter general of the National Society of the DAR. She has committed herself tirelessly to the support and growth of the Daughters of the American Revolution organization locally by acting as Regent of the North Riding Chapter for many years and nationally in her role of reporter general.
