Jane Brown was a resident of Manhasset for 69 years. She was a volunteer at North Shore University Hospital since its inception in 1953 and a trustee of the hospital for many years. She is survived by her son, Dayton Brown Jr. of Setauket, L.I.
Thomas E. Jones of Manhasset died on June 21, 2004. He was the beloved husband of Gloria, loving father of Kelly and Brian. He was the son of the late Eugene and Mary Jones and brother of Eugene Jones, stepson of Alice Jones and stepbrother of Kathy, Susan, James and Alice and son-in-law of William Pickett. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Fairchild Funeral Home in Manhasset. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Manhasset on Thursday, June 24, with interment following at all Saints Cemetery in Great Neck. Edward J. Rapp of Manhasset died on June 21, 2004. He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel. He is survived by his children, June Dunne, James and John Rapp; grandchildren James Dune, Kelly Dunne and Nancy Flynn; and great-grandchildren Kally Dunne, Keegan Dunne and Nicholas Flynn. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Manhasset on Wednesday, June 23, with interment following at Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations in his name to Hospice Care Network, 99 Sunnyside Boulevard, Woodbury, NY 11797 would be appreciated.
