Geraldine Daguanno, 87, died on January 1, 2004, in the company of her two granddaughters. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Antonio "Teddy" Daguanno. She is survived by her two daughters, Marie Turano, now of Baiting Hollow, NY, formerly of Manhasset and Linda Lizardi of Plainview. She is also survived by two sons-in-law, Leonard Turano of Baiting Hollow, formerly of Manhasset, and Joseph Lizardi of Plainview; three grandchildren: Janeen Turano of Manhattan, Lauren Baranello of Manhasset and Michael Lizardi of Plainview. Geraldine is also survived by her three great-grandchildren: Drew, Alex, and Christopher Baranello, all from Manhasset.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Vernon C.Wagner Funeral Home in Plainview.

A funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Mercy in Plainview, followed by burial at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury on Monday, January 5, 2004.
