The Bayview Civic Association's ninth annual holiday show for Manhasset's kids (Santa Claus age) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Clearview Theater on Plandome Road. Clearview Cinema is, once again, very generously donating its theater and a movie for Manhasset's kids. Clearview has arranged a special Manhasset showing of the movie Elf. Santa Claus will make an appearance after the movie and he will be available for visits with the children.

Chase Manhattan Bank continues to be the leading financial sponsor of the show and will help provide over 100 raffle prizes. Raindew will provide candy canes for all and King Kullen, the Manhasset Post Office and others will continue to provide treats for the kids. The cost per ticket will remain at $1 each and we ask attendees to donate at least a couple of pounds of food per ticket holder for Island Harvest and the less fortunate.

Tickets will go on sale on Dec. 12 at the Chase Manhattan Bank in Munsey Park and also at Washington Mutual on Plandome Road. (Tickets, printed courtesy of Minuteman Press, are limited and tend to sell out quickly.) Merchants who are interested in donating a raffle prize or other giveaways can reach me at 627-5771.
