At the Annual Reorganization Meeting of the Manhasset Public Schools Board of Education, held Tuesday, July 8, Barbara Donno was re-elected president of the board of education for the 2003-2004 school year. Mrs. Donno has been a board member for eight years. She has served as board president for the past three years, and previously was board vice-president for two years.

Reuben Cohen was elected vice-president of the board for the new school year. Mr. Cohen has been a board member for two years.

Completing the five-member board are members-at-large Cindy Cardinal, Deborah Klein and Thomas Maimone. Ms. Cardinal is the newest member of the board and was elected to a three-year term on June 3. Mrs. Klein, a board member for three years, was re-elected to another term in June. Mr. Maimone has been a board member for four years. Mrs. Klein and Ms. Cardinal were officially sworn in by District Clerk Carol Catanzaro.
